Making a confessions page…
19 January 2017
We’ve all done something we shouldn’t at some time or another in our lives and when you get to the end of your school days, you can open up and admit to the year group ‘it was me’. Confessions are always hilarious pages so if you’d like to include them, why not follow this easy page tutorial:
Step 1: Choose your theme. Are you working with a consistent theme throughout your yearbook which you want to copy over or are you going to bold individual pages which are themed by contents? Your decisions on theming will help you get started with selecting fonts and backgrounds…
Step 2: Add a title. This page is bound to capture your reader as everyone naturally wants the juicy gossip! Click onto the add icon and then choose add title text. Position your text as you wish and why not go for a big bold font to really steal the show If you plan to add your page title across a double page spread, be sure to leave a little gap in the text so it doesn’t get lost in the spine of the book when it’s bound.
Step 3: With the Add menu still open, you can now add other text boxes to the page for your various confessions. Be sure to choose a mix of fonts and colours for your text boxes to keep the page looking bright and interesting.
Step 4: Embellish! Have a good rummage through the PNG selection to find all sorts of post it notes, frames and doodles which could add to your theming.
As our system is so flexible, you can really create some interesting designs. Perhaps you’d like to incorporate some photos for a magazine look….
Or maybe frame those secrets using frames from your PNG selection in the graphics and clipart area….
