22 February 2017

If you’re struggling to find inspiration when choosing your yearbook’s colour scheme, don’t worry – we are here to help!

Take a look at our pre-made colour palettes which you will find in the ‘Theme’ menu, and if nothing is taking your fancy feel free to make your own using some of our tips below.

Be bold

Don’t be afraid to experiment with bold colours, especially if you are looking to create an eye-catching page. Think yellow and black, neon pink and turquoise, purple and lime green!

Be relaxed

If you’re thinking about a more chilled-out look, pick out some neutral colours for your palette. Pale blues, summer yellows and cream tones will leave your year group feeling calm and peaceful.

Be Sophisticated

sophisticated

Rather than opt for white, why not try a creamy background colour with a selection of purples and pinks. These colours look great when paired with a handlettered font, and gives the page a sophisticated feel.

Be Experimental

funky-and-fun

Why pick just one bright colour when you can pick five!? Contrasting colours such as pink and red can look really effective when used sparingly. Throw in some yellow, green and blue and you’ve got yourself a stand-out colour scheme.

If you’d like any help choosing a colour palette, or want to use one of the above, our yearbook coordinators are more than happy to help! Click on the support tab within your book and let us know.
